Can I use a universal adapter for my laptop?

Every commercially available power adapter is compatible with different laptops. This means that no laptop has a power adapter that is designed exclusively for use with that particular model.

Can I charge my laptop with a universal charger?

No you cannot. The battery and the charger must go together. The only exception to this rule is with a universal charger. Just make sure that this universal charger is people outputting a signal that your laptop can understand.

Can I buy a universal laptop charger?

A universal AC adapter laptop charger has interchangeable tips, making it ideal for anyone with multiple laptops.

Can I use a 65W adapter on a 90W laptop?

The 90W charger can also be used with a laptop using a 65W charger, as it has enough power (the rest just overlaps). However, using a 65W charger with a 90W laptop is not recommended and in some cases not possible, as the computer understands that it is not a powerful enough.

Is it safe to charge a laptop with a phone charger?

While using a phone charger to charge a laptop might work in a pinch, especially with USB-C and Power Delivery, it's generally not recommended due to lower wattage and voltage output, potentially leading to slow or no charging, and possibly even damage.
