How many phones can connect to the adapter?

Only 1 phone can connect at a time. That phone will then have control of the audio to the car. You can disconnect that phone and when you connect a different phone simply make sure Bluetooth is turned off on the first phone so the adapter doesn't grab that one first. Now the second phone can pair via Bluetooth easily.

If my car doesn't have carplay already will this work if I just plug it in?

No. This adpater only supports vehicles equipped with factory wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Vehicles in the 2015 to 2025 range are going to be most compatible.

Could you plug this into a tv that is not a smart tv

No. It's just meant for a car stereo system.

Can you watch videos or YouTube?

This is not supported because Apple CarPlay and Android Auto do not support streaming video.

What if my car only support USB-C connections?

This product with a Type-C adapter so regardless of your car's USB port, the wireless car adapter will be a universal fit.
