How many photos can an 8GB digital frame hold?

Can I send pictures from the east coast to the frame at my sons house in Colorado?

Yes.

Does this frame use the Frameo app? If not what does it work with?

It uses the Aluratek FrameTime app. We have 4 different apps so make sure you download the FrameTime app.

Can you connect the frame via the USB to a computer or smart TV to show the pictures larger?

No. You can connect to a computer to send other photos to the frame, or you can use USB or SD cards, 32GB or smaller, to show photos on the frame, but the unit does not have the video capability to export the video/photos to a computer screen or TV. That would generally require an HDMI connection.
