How to Install the Aluratek Frametime App to Work with Your PicStick
You’ve purchased the PicStick, and you have a question about the Frametime app that you are being asked to install on your smartphone. You may be wondering, what is the Frametime app, and why do I need it? This Hot Tip will help answer those questions.
The Frametime app is the interface you will use to upload images and videos from your phone to your PicStick. Without the Frametime app, it will not be possible to load content from your smartphone to your PicStick. Be sure to download the Frametime app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Once the Frametime app has been installed on your phone and you have created an account, you will need to set up the app and pair it with your PicStick. This is Step 5 in your user manual. If you’ve closed the Frametime app, reopen it. Select “Add Device” and then select “Scan.”
At this point, you are ready to scan the QR code shown on your TV. Once scanned, you can name your PicStick and then select “Done.” This is the final step to connect the Frametime app on your smartphone to your PicStick.
From this point, you’ll use your phone to select photos and videos to copy to your PicStick. Once your content has been copied to the PicStick, you’ll put down the phone and continue using your PicStick.
