We are looking for a hardware test and patent engineer to join our product development team. Candidate should be personable, self motivated, able to coordinate simultaneous projects and work well in a team environment. 

You will be responsible for development, design, debug and validation of new products; Complete patent applications that may involve technical fields, such as, consumer electronics, display technologies, cloud applications, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR)/augmented reality (AR) applications, semiconductor processes and computer electronics; Analyze office actions issued by Patent Office and advise appropriate strategies for prosecuting patent applications; Research and review approved patent; Identify test process to test hardware designs; Execute unit and product level test; Restore low to high complexity boards to component level; Participate in verification of hardware design using software and diagnostics; Collaborate with other hardware engineers in prototype bring up and bring up testing; Create overall hardware test strategies; Administer project schedule input and updates; Execute all project hardware tests; Analyze test data in multiple ways and find areas of concern; Document findings in detail; Develop appropriate documentation to show traceability to requirements. Offered Wage: $104,083/yr.

Job location: Irvine, CA.

Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering is required.
