Dual USB Auto Charger is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and powerful Simple and it works. 2.1A so it charges my ipad and iphone.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very limited charging capacity I bought this to charge my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone, a higher end product that requires over 1 amp of charging current. The packaging for this charger claimed it would produce up to 2A. Not true, at least not with my device. It does not produce enough power to charge my device beyond about 50%. Further, if I plug my device into this charger and try to use it for something power intensive at the same time (say, to watch a Netflix video), the phone uses the battery faster than this device will charge it, and thus the battery eventually completely drains -- while plugged in. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works With Android Phones! Pros: Although I can't see whether my android phone is pulling the full 2amps, it is showing that the phone is charging via AC power. Cons: Wish the design was "rounder" to cover the entire 12v socket and lay flush. Other Thoughts: Bought it for my new evo 4g lte to work with the sprint car dock designed for the phone. Works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yes, It’s Properly Designed Pros: I benchtested this unit to clear up some misinformation in earlier comments. First, with a 5-ohm load it delivered 910mA at 4.8v, so anyone claiming this charger will not deliver more than 500mA is flat wrong. The charger determines the maximum current available, but it's the phone that decides how much of that to draw. If you're not getting more than 400-500mA, it's not the charger's fault, so troubleshoot your phone and/or cable. Second, the USB "dedicated charger" spec says the two data lines should be shorted together to signify "AC charger" mode and allow the higher current draw. I tried two different android phones and both correctly showed "Charging (AC)" instead of the slower "Charging (USB)". Perhaps there were earlier versions of this charger that may have been different, but my unit is properly wired as is. I even tried manually shorting the two data lines under several scenarios just to check, and as expected there was no change whatsoever in current draw. It's properly wired without special surgery. Note your charging cable can make a big difference. With the stock 5-ft Samsung USB cable the phone drew 610mA at 4.9v, but with a generic aftermarket cable I measured 750mA at 4.8v. The aftermarket cable was half as long and had thicker wires. Both measurements are roughly consistent with the AC charger that came with the phone, which supplied 650mA at 5.0v and 850mA at 5.0v with the same two cables. Note the phone's charging algorithm can also make a difference. The above measurements were with a battery 10% charged. when the battery was 80% charged the current draw never seemed to exceed 400-450mA under any conditions. (Of course, your phone may use a different algorithm.) Bottom line is this charger seems to do what it's supposed to. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: My Garmin GPS goes into PC mode when connected to this charger. That's not the charger's fault, though--Garmin uses a connector with a proprietary voltage divider on the X-pin to designate charging mode. Normal mini-USB cables have no connection to the X-pin, which Garmin interprets to be PC mode.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value For The Money, And Dependable I have had this for 6 months, and it works just fine as a car charger. It has so far been dependable. It could be better quality, but for the price is a good buy. The lights on it don't work as well as they should.
