Just bought my iStream, opened it up, and got it plugged in to charge for the recommended 3 hours before initial use. I just have one question, how will I know when it's done charging? I couldn't find any documentation anywhere online/in the manual. Thanks!

Can you use this with ear buds and an adapter?

Hi Mark. Thanks for your question. Sorry no, the iStream could not be used with earbuds. The iStream only works with Bluetooth enabled Smartphones and Tablets and a dock or speaker system with 3.5 mm audio jack.

Can I plug the USB charging cable into a standard 1 Amp adapter? I want to make sure I will not fry it with too strong of a current, and I cannot find the DC input specs.

    Reply
    • Greg

Hi Dan, thanks for your comment. 1amp should be ok, as long as the output if the adaptor is 5v. It will just take longer to charge it since it is a much lower amperage. You can also plug the charging cord to any USB wall adaptor, and it will charge the iStream normally. Let me know if you have further questions. Thanks!

Hi John, with the iStream off, plug it to a speaker. Press and hold the power button to turn it on. DO NOT put it on pairing mode. Once you see the blue light flashing press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second and you will hear a short beep. Once you hear the beep, turn the iStream off. You can now pair it to your device normally. Please let me know if this works for you. Thanks!

I purchased a istream-universal-bluetooth-audio-receiver for the first week it was awesome. easy to install and the unit worked flawlessly. I had it plugged in to the usb most of the time . I assumed it was charging and sometimes would leave it unplugged while I listened to music. today it started a flashing red blue lights and I wondered why it beeped twice every 5 seconds.maybe the code is lack of battery , this malfunction I tried reinstalling it and it loads and then the unit shuts off or double beeps .what to do? thanks.

I just recently got this device. I used it right out of the package which it states in the manual is not recommended but shouldn't be problematic. It worked great when first opened. Now I'm sure it needs to be charged but I am not getting the red light when I plug it in to indicate that it is charging. Instead it is flashing blue 3 times about every five seconds. I'm having trouble finding out anything about what it means to flash just the blue light.. Can someone help me? Does anyone else have one that doesn't turn red while charging, but does effectively charge?

Does anyone know if two bluetooth receivers would connect to each other? I tried to connect my aluratek bluetooth receiver into my tv. I originally planned for it to connect to my bluetooth speakers, but it doesn't seem like its working very well right now. So I am wondering if I buy another receiver if the two separate devices would connect to each other?

Hello. You may need to have the memory purged. To purge the memory, The iStream needs to be turned off. Then, with the iStream off, plug it into a speaker. Press and hold the power button to turn it on. DO NOT put it on pairing mode. Once you see the blue light flashing press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second and you will hear a short beep. Once you hear the beep, turn the iStream off. You can now pair it to your device normally. Please try this and let us know if your iStream is working properly. Thanks.

I have a regular aux cable and when I plugged that in it works. but not the aluratek Bluetooth. Is it because the cable is to thin ? my regular cable is thicker than the aluratek, and every time I plug it in my car system finds it.

My iStream ais01f receiver works pretty well, but when using with my iPhone 6, iOS9.1, I must manually reconnect each time I turn on the iStream. I do not have to enter pairing mode on the iStream each time, but when I turn the iStream on, my iPhone always asks me to accept a pairing request before connecting.
I tried purging the ais01f memory per instructions above, and I've told the iPhone to "forget" the device so I could start fresh. I've re-paired the 2 afterward, but I still have the same slightly annoying problem. Any ideas?

Bought an ABT01F Bluetooth transmitter, hooked it up to charge, and the red light never went away. Supposed to go away when charged (3 hours, says the manual). But this was two days ago, and the thing's been unplugged for 24 hours. And still... red light. No way to turn it off, no way to do anything with this little gadget, except wonder how long that battery's going to keep that red light going. Advice?

How do I clear the paired devices from my Bluetooth Universal Audio Transmitter (Model ABT01F)? I have successfully paired it only once with my Bose Soundsport wireless headphones, and feel like the transmitter needs to be restored to its factory condition to have any chance of pairing again.

Hello, ABT01F does not have a reset. It just sends out a signal. The receivers are typically the devices that have memory, not the transmitters. Please try pairing the ABT01F to another Bluetooth headset or speaker to see if it connects.

Thanks for the advice! After successfully pairing the ABT01F with the Bluetooth speaker that I use in my car, I was able to pair the transmitter with my Soundsport headphones by holding the two devices next to one another during the pairing process. Now I am able to successfully connect to the headphones every time I power on the transmitter.

Hi there! You need the ABT01F Bluetooth Transmitter plugged into the Audio Out of the TV and pair it with the AIS01F Bluetooth receiver that is plugged in to the Audio In or Aux In of the home theater receiver. If you have more questions, I would call support and they can help you as well! Here is their contact: Call 1-866-580-1978 or email support@aluratek.com

    Hello

I just bought your device and it worked fine for about 5 hours but now it doesn't appear to be recharging. I get no response from the device when I hold down the 'power on/off' button. I've tried to recharge it in various USB devices using your supplied adaptor. I tried my mac computer and my PS4 USB port but I still get no response.

Do you have any troubleshooting tips for this please?

    Thanks in Advance

I have a ADMPF4140T digital frame. Many of the pictures appear sideways. How can I get them to display properly?

So I was using my AIS01F connected to my sound system, paired with my PC just fine, then it disconnected suddenly. It was fully charged. I tried to re-pair the unit and now it refuses to pair. I tried it with other devices such as my phone and tablet and it won't pair with anything. As far as I knew it was only ever paired with my sound system.

    Hello,
I use the AIS01F for a few years, I leave it always connected on a charger with the usb socket. For a few days, listening to music I hear every 20 seconds, a beep beep and a red light on the device. What can I do?
    Thank you for your attention!

Like a person had previously posted, I just opened my ABT01F and plugged it in. The light is flashing blue and not red. When I unplug it, it continues to flash...so I hold the power button and turn it off. Again, when I plug the charge cord in, the light flashes blue, indicating to me that the unit is powering on and not simply charging. When I turn the unit off while plugged in, the light does not re-illuminate after it goes out during the shut down sequence.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
